Lumigen APS-5 Description
Lumigen APS-5® is a proprietary acridan-based chemiluminescent substrate engineered for highly sensitive detection of alkaline phosphatase (AP) conjugated molecules in immunoassay systems. Designed for performance and reliability, APS-5 delivers rapid, high-intensity light output upon reaction with AP labels, enabling precise quantification across a broad dynamic range.
This advanced substrate technology combines exceptional sensitivity with consistent signal performance, making it ideal for ELISA applications, phosphatase-linked immunoassays, and solution-based enzyme activity measurements. APS-5 produces a strong, sustained chemiluminescent signal that supports both rapid read workflows and high-throughput assay formats.
The reagent demonstrates excellent linearity in log-log calibration curves, where proportional increases in enzyme concentration yield proportional increases in luminescence. Its rapid peak intensity development and stable signal output enhance assay precision while minimizing variability.
Lumigen APS-5 has been successfully utilized in diagnostic and research immunoassay systems, including high-sensitivity sandwich immunoassays such as thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) detection platforms. It offers a powerful alternative to traditional dioxetane substrates, delivering improved signal intensity and rapid kinetics.
Invented, developed, and manufactured by Lumigen, APS-5 reflects decades of chemiluminescent expertise and is trusted by diagnostic manufacturers and research laboratories worldwide.
