Lumi-Phos HRP (PS-atto) Description
Lumi-Phos HRP (PS-atto) is a high-performance chemiluminescent substrate designed for the detection of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugates in ELISA and other solution-based assays. Formulated for rapid signal development and high light output, the reagent enables sensitive quantitation of proteins, nucleic acids, and other HRP-labeled targets.
Upon reaction with HRP, Lumi-Phos HRP generates intense chemiluminescence with a very rapid onset, reaching peak signal within seconds. Its strong light output supports detection of extremely low levels of enzyme, with sensitivity reported below 10⁻¹⁹ moles of HRP. The reaction produces linear calibration curves in log-log analysis, where one order of magnitude increase in enzyme concentration yields a proportional increase in light intensity. This predictable response supports accurate quantitative analysis across a broad dynamic range.
Supplied as a two-component system, Solutions A and B are combined in equal parts to produce the working substrate. The formulation is optimized for microtiter plate ELISA workflows and can also be applied to other HRP-conjugated detection formats.
Lumi-Phos HRP serves as a replacement for Lumigen PS-1 for peroxidase detection, offering improved performance characteristics while maintaining compatibility with standard luminometer-based detection systems.
Invented, developed, and manufactured by Lumigen, Lumi-Phos HRP reflects decades of expertise in chemiluminescent reagent development for research and diagnostic assay applications.
